| Unlock the Legacy of Agribusiness Success
A sea of blue jackets return to Exhibition Hall for the 83rd FFA State Convention on June 11-14. This annual event begins with the Day of Service activities where FFA members will volunteer their time at six local service sites. The Day of Service is followed by the nightly Kick Off to the Convention. FFA members will spend the evening listening to music, playing games and relaxing with plenty of entertainment.
This year’s convention “Unlocks the Legacy” of agricultural education with seminars, hands-on training and more competitions than ever before. FFA students can earn FFA Bucks for every workshop, seminar, exhibit, tour and informational session students attend. The Bucks can be used at the silent auction on June 13 to purchase an array of interesting items.
From the agriscience fair and public speaking competitions to the talent show and opening/closing ceremony contests, this convention is full of competitive opportunities for students to demonstrate and improve professional skills.

World’s Largest Brat Fest
The World’s Largest Brat Fest is returning to Willow Island for a four-day extravaganza May 25-May 28. The growing festival will continue seeking to break the previous year’s world record of brats eaten during the event; Join us in breaking the record of 209,376 brats eaten last year! You can’t go wrong with a variety of Johnsonville brats, Oscar Mayer Hotdogs, Veggie Brats, and more.
This event isn’t just about the food! The free music festival will include a variety of artists and genres, from rock to reggae to soul, just to name a few. Epic Fight Night in Coliseum
It’s fight night in Veterans Memorial Coliseum on May 16. The National Guard Fight Me MMA tour brings this premier mixed martial arts league to Madison for an epic night of non-stop action. The world’s best and brightest young fighters bring the heat to battle it out both inside and outside the cages.
Don’t miss Mike “Unbreakable” King, one of the most popular gladiators in MMA, as he attempts to knock out the competition left and right. Fight Me MMA star Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger, who last fight was deemed “Fight of the Night”, is set to entertain Wisconsin fans in the main event. Many local fighters will be making their debut against experienced opponents.
Fight Me MMA and the Wisconsin National Guard will be offering thousands of free tickets to fans through area marketing and retail partners. Divine Celebration at Willow Island

Order Your Ticketmaster Event Tickets Toll Free
Event-goers who typically call in their Ticketmaster orders can now call toll free. The new number, 1-800-745-3000, allows anyone in the U.S. to order tickets via phone without paying pesky long distance charges. The previous number, (608) 255-4646, is no longer be available.
Alliant Energy Center event tickets are also available in person at the Coliseum Box Office, www.ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
